1. Welcome and Apologies

The chair welcomed everyone to the last meeting of term, the academic year and for some - their very last proj meeting.

2. Technical Officer’s Report

a. Alex informed the committee that the wall panel controls, the DTS processor display and the CP500 display can all say different things – so understandably it is rather confusing sometimes as to what is going on.

3. Training

a. Yolanda was congratulated by all on qualifying.

b. Max will have his AT2 tomorrow (28th June) at 2:00pm, Tim G and Rob M will be in attendance.

4. Time and Date of next meeting

Tim G informed the committee that the date for the next meeting has yet to be decided and that he will organise this over the mailing lists.

5. Rotas

The chair informed everyone that the rotas for next term are open!

6. AOB

a. Rachel said that when she had last gotten the cloths out of the speakers she had found a lump of speaker wood irreversibly unattached! She implored everyone to be more careful when handling the speakers.

b. Fergus said that the depression in the asbestos pipe has increased in size due to lack of care of the speakers when they are returned and retrieved from the cupboard, he made a comment to the effect of – IT WILL KILL US ALL – though perhaps it was slightly less melodramatic.

c. Rob M has fixed the pressure hose on the winding bench and so far there is no apparent leakage.

d. Tim G informed the committee that the Outdoor Screening film will be made-up tomorrow morning, starting at 10:00am and that anyone is welcome to help him out.

e. It was stressed to Tim G that the film should be made-up with great care and that no reference frames should be left in, all previous bits of tape should be removed and that thick tape should be used.

f. The committee was informed that the Outdoor Screening film can only be played in stereo.

g. Alex suggested that the Outdoor Screening test reel will either need to be found or one will need to be made, this will of course need to be in x-wide.

Meeting Ended at 18:33
