Here is a list of links to student film societies, mainly at UK universities. If you wish to add a link or update your details please contact us.

Aberdeen University Cinergi Film Association
An association where students of the University of Aberdeen can meet to create short films. We cover all aspects of film production from producing, directing and writing to editing, filming and acting. Any student of the University is welcome to join and ideas for new projects are actively encouraged.

We own all our own equipment and have have a cinema standard Century projector with Dolby Digital and EX! We show a wide range of films from Arthouse to Blockbusters and even the occasional UK Premier! Our web pages have just been given a make-over after a couple of years in the doldrums so do pop along and have a shufty.

Manchester University Film Society MUFS
Sheffield Film Unit
Film Unit is as old as the Film Society movement as a whole, the earliest documentation we have is from our entry into the BFI in 1949. We are a working committee of the Students' Union and if you are a student, then you are already a member, if not then membership is easy to arrange, just get in touch. Please remember that tickets cannot be sold on the night.

Union Films, Southampton
Union Films is the award-winning cinema in Southampton University Students' Union. Run entirely by volunteers, we show a wide range of films on both 35mm and 70mm film in digital surround sound, in the newly constructed Uniplex cinema in the new SUSU building.

York Student Cinema
As the biggest society on campus we need little introduction. We show over 30 films a term of almost every origin and type you can think of. Whatever kind of films you like, you can be sure to find some of them appearing on our screen. All are shown in the largest lecture theatre on campus, on our own 35mm projector with Dolby stereo surround sound.
York
Warwick Student Cinema
Last but not least, (in our opinion, anyway, and since we maintain this page we can say what we like :-) comes Warwick Student Cinema. As well as all the usual stuff, our website has a library of over 500 film reviews, a few film quizzes and provides access to the society's newsgroup.
