Review:

Prepare yourselves because this film even managed to scare Stephen King! Crimson Peak, is the terrifying tale of Edith Cushing, a young American girl who has always been able to communicate with ghosts. As a child, the spirit of her late mother warned Edith of Crimson Peak however, she grew up more attracted to stories of the supernatural than the romantic. She meets and soon marries the handsome Sir Thomas Sharpe and moves to his mansion in England with Sir Thomas’ angry sister Lucille. Soon after her arrival, Edith realises all is not as it seems in this house. Sir Thomas and Lucille behave in mysterious ways and she begins to encounter gruesome and angry ghosts. Realising that the house and its family have many dark secrets, Edith must try and escape before it’s too late. In this film, it is not just the dead who you need to fear…
